Litter

Street litter creates untidy communities. Incorrect waste disposal negatively impacts our health and causes damage to wildlife and the tourism industry. By introducing the BriteBin™ to the streets of your town or city you are proactively equipping the community with a more appropriate waste disposal source.

Collections

By reducing waste volumes by up to 10 times with a BriteBin™ Solar 120ltr, and up to 20 times with a BriteBin™ Solar 240ltr, we can reduce the volume of litter collections required. This reduction on collections also reduces the volume of single use plastic utilised across bin fleets in towns and cities, the less collections required the less bin liners used!

Running Costs

The BriteBin™ Solar compacting Smart bin has no running costs. The on-board compacting system is powered by solar energy, generated from day-light factor which is stored for use where required.

Carbon Footprint

Authorised council authority will receive a notification indicating when a BriteBin™ across the fleet requires a service. By generating timely and eficient notifications, we can reduce traffic in towns and cities, deploying Council HGV’s only when required.

Time Saving

The BriteBin™ Solar compacting smart bin can generate savings for councils across time, carbon emissions and waste disposal costs. The award winning BriteBin™ data management platform allows council authorities to gain insightful data into the on street activity. Our award winning BriteBin™ software is the leading IT intelligence across the smart waste industry. The BriteBin™ Software solution operates wirelessly through the cloud. It generates real-time data transmitted across the Sigfox, NBIoT and GSM networks.

The BriteBin™ Software solution allows customers to monitor fill-levels across their entire BriteBin™ fleet, and proactively deploy collection resources to only those bins requiring service. An integrated BriteBin™ sensor is mounted to the interior of the unit, which accurately monitors litter levels and communicates the fill-level alerts in real time to the PEL BriteBin™ data management platform. The BriteBin™ software processes the data received, and issues an alert via email or SMS to the appropriate authority when a bin needs to be emptied.
